Who is this captain?

Capt Wil Kinsey is a United States Coast Guard 200ton licensed captain and yacht engineer. He has been “sailing for dollars” for over 32 years!! He’s been an instructor, racing instructor, and has a great racing history. Wil has delivered yachts all over the western hemisphere, spent a few years as engineer on a famous super yacht, and has been a Key West resident for 20 years. During this time he’s worked as charter captain, charter crew, local musician, eco tour guide for paddle boards and kayaks, and participated in local comedy shows among many other things. Not only is he totally familiar with the waters of Key West, he’s very nfamiliar with the history of the waters of Key West and loves to share these tales of old.

What about this boat?

Leona is a Passport 40 performance cruiser. She is very comfortable and combines the speed of a performance yacht and the comfort and beauty of a classic yacht. Leona features a shaded cockpit, sunny decks for lounging, 2 private cabins, full galley (kitchen), and full restroom.

Will we see anything?

Can’t promise anything but more often than not we see turtles, dolphins, rays, and more. Some days it’s just the beautiful waters, sky, and vibes of Key West but like mentioned, most of the time we see cool marine life along the way.

Can we get in the water?

Yes!!! if weather permits, we can “stop and chill”. You’re welcome to swim, snorkel, or just float in the beautiful clear ocean waters of the Florida Keys.
